Sumrall, Woodyard Named Game Captains for the Indiana Contest: Junior linebacker Jon Sumrall and freshman strong safety Wesley Woodyard have been named game captains for the home opener Saturday vs. Indiana.

Coach Rich Brooks selects game captains based on performance in the previous game, with at least one of the game captains coming from special teams. Sumrall made six tackles in the game at Louisville and did an excellent job in handling his assignments, Brooks said. The coach noted that Woodyard played very well on special teams.

Sumrall and Woodyard will join permanent captains Shane Boyd and Sweet Pea Burns for the pregame coin toss. The Wildcats and the Hoosiers tangle Saturday at 7 p.m. at Commonwealth Stadium.

Kentucky at Florida Selected by ESPN2: The Kentucky at Florida game on Sept. 25 has been selected for live telecast by ESPN2. Game time is 6 p.m. EDT.

This will be Kentucky?s second live television appearance of the season, as the Louisville game was televised by ESPN. This will mark the ninth consecutive season that the UK-Florida game has been chosen for live TV.
