LEXINGTON, Ky. ? The University of Kentucky gymnastics team will hold the 2nd Annual Blue/White Meet on December 4th at 6 p.m. at Memorial Coliseum. Admission is free to the informational ?Meet the Team? intra-squad meet with an autograph session following the meet where UK gymnasts will be signing posters and answering questions. Fans will also have a chance to win the ?Best Seat in the House? at ‘Excite Nite’, free T-shirts and much more.

Before the meet, UK gymnastics fans can drop a question in box about gymnastics for head coach ?Mo? Muhammad. Questions will be answered throughout the meet by Coach Muhammad.

During the meet Muhammad will become professor of Gymnastics 101. He will describe the correct technique of the gymnasts on the respective apparatuses. Gymnasts will have short warm-up period and then three gymnasts from the Blue and White team will perform routines to be judged. Half of the evening?s crowd will cheer for the blue, while the other half cheers for the white. Prizes will be won for the fans of each team with outstanding routines, stuck landings and other gymnastics skills. During each touch warm up period there will also be trivia questions asked to spectators with opportunities to win prizes for correct answers.

The UK gymnastics first official meet of the year is the ever-spectacular, ‘Excite Nite’ on Jan. 8. The Memorial Coliseum doors open at 6 p.m., awaiting fans is a night of circus-style entertainment and UK gymnastics action.
