Senior Kentucky guard/forward Sara Potts was named to the Sportsview.tv Women?s National Invitation Tournament all-tournament team announced by the WNIT. Potts, who averaged 27.8 points per game during the four-game postseason run, tallied two 30-plus point games vs. Chattanooga and Xavier in the tournament.

A Rochester Hills, Mich., native, Potts was the team?s three-point leader in postseason action, making 15-of-44 shots from beyond the arc and an impressive 93.3 percent (14-of-15) from the free-throw line.

?Sara has been such a clutch player for us during her career,? UK Coach Mickie DeMoss said. ?Her play during the WNIT just exemplified the character and leadership she brought to our team.?

The Wildcats finished the 2004-05 season with an 18-16 record and completed the longest postseason run in school history by advancing to the WNIT final four.
