Another conference victory for Kentucky senior All-American Jesse Witten likely will give Kentucky its first SEC Men?s Tennis Player of the Year selection. The Naples, Fla., native has won 11-consecutive matches, is on track to collect his fourth first-team All-SEC selection and is on pace to become UK?s first four-time singles All-American. On Saturday, the fourth-ranked Witten will match up with Vanderbilt?s Scott Brown, the 45th-ranked player in the nation.

Witten and fellow senior Tigran Martirosyan are in the midst of singles and doubles winning streaks. In addition to his 11-consecutive singles wins, Witten has won six-straight doubles matches with Martirosyan, including wins over three top-10 opponents. Martirosyan has captured seven-consecutive singles matches.

Kentucky (18-8, 5-5) looks to get back on the winning track in league play after suffering home losses last weekend to Georgia and Tennessee. Vanderbilt (12-9, 3-7) defeated the Vols last week but dropped a 5-2 decision to Georgia.
