LEXINGTON, Ky. ? No. 12 Kentucky closes out its regular season Saturday looking to pick up its sixth win in conference play, as the Cats journey to Nashville to meet No. 36 Vanderbilt at the Currey Tennis Center. Another conference victory for Kentucky senior All-American Jesse Witten likely will give Kentucky its first SEC Men?s Tennis Player of the Year selection. The Naples, Fla., native has won 11-consecutive matches, is on track to collect his fourth first-team All-SEC selection and is on pace to become UK?s first four-time singles All-American. On Saturday, the fourth-ranked Witten will match up with Vanderbilt?s Scott Brown, the 45th-ranked player in the nation.

Witten and fellow senior Tigran Martirosyan are in the midst of singles and doubles winning streaks. In addition to his 11-consecutive singles wins, Witten has won six-straight doubles matches with Martirosyan, including wins over three top-10 opponents. Martirosyan has captured seven-consecutive singles matches.

Kentucky (18-8, 5-5) looks to get back on the winning track in league play after suffering home losses last weekend to Georgia and Tennessee. Vanderbilt (12-9, 3-7) defeated the Vols last week but dropped a 5-2 decision to Georgia.
