Lexington. Ky. – Fresh off a weekend split with top-ranked Georgia and No. 42 Tennessee, the No. 20 Kentucky men?s tennis team returns to the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Center on Tuesday to host intrastate rivals Eastern Kentucky and Morehead State. The Cats are currently 13-5 overall and are in the second place in the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference with a 6-2 record.

This past weekend UK lost 7-0 at Georgia and defeated the Vols 5-2. The match against UT was clinched by freshman sensation Bruno Agostinelli, who defeated No. 99 Bobby Cameron at the No. 1 singles spot. The No. 54 Agostinelli got down early to Cameron by losing 3-6 in the first set. In the second set, Agostinelli scored a 6-3 win and in the final set outlasted Cameron 7-6. The win improved the Niagara Falls, Canada, native to 24-14 on the season.

Eastern Kentucky comes to Lexington with a 9-10 record and is currently on a five-match winning streak. The Morehead State Eagles are 6-11 and are coming off a 7-0 victory over Tennessee State on Saturday.

Kentucky has dominated the all-times series with both schools. Against MSU, the Wildcats are 24-1 and in match-ups with EKU, Kentucky holds the 33-3 advantage. Last Season, UK blanked EKU 6-0 and defeated MSU 5-1.

First serve is scheduled to get under way at 1 p.m. EDT against the Colonels. The match with Morehead State will follow at 6 p.m. EDT. Fans can check ukathletics.com for live stats and recaps of both matches.
