LEXINGTON ? The Kentucky men?s soccer team has announced the dates for its annual Elite Camp this summer with one June session and one July session.
Session one takes place from June 15-17 with session two a month later from June 14-16.
Are you driven, focused, self motivated and skilled enough to compete at the highest level? If the answer is yes, you need to attend the 2006 UK Elite training program!
Our Elite Camps have become a very important component of our recruiting process. Elite Camp offers you a chance to work under the direction of the UK Men?s Coaching Staff. You are trained and evaluated by the UK coaches and sessions are designed to give you insight into how college players are trained. The camps address the physical, mental, technical and tactical components of the college soccer game. There is a specialized curriculum for Goalkeepers. Many of our current players were identified at our Elite Camps; six of our 2006 incoming recruits attended one of the Elite camps!
Elite Camp will give you a first hand look into our program and the working of a Division 1 program. We provide you with information on how to market yourself to collegiate soccer programs. Furthermore, we provide informational sessions on how collegiate athletes successfully balance academics and athletics. (Our UK Men?s Soccer team has a cumulative GPA above a 3.0!)
All sessions of the Elite camp utilize UK?s world class facilities. You play with and against other high level players from all over the state, region, and country. Last year we had over 25 states represented. Elite camp offers residential and commuter rates ? resident campers are housed in on campus dormitories.
Campers also receive:
Written Evaluation from a UK coaching Staff Member
DVD of action from a training session
T-shirt
Soccer Ball
Camp Picture
MLS Poster
Seminars on: Recruiting, Strength and Conditioning, Academics, and the Mental and Physical habits of a successful player
The Coaching staff provides transportation to pick-up and drop-off out-of-town campers at the Lexington Bluegrass Airport! For more information you can visit https://ukathletics.com/soccercamp or contact:
