LEXINGTON, Ky. ? The Kentucky rifle team will put its undefeated record on the line when it hosts the defending NCAA Champion Alaska Fairbanks on Thursday.

?I don?t want our shooters to treat this match any differently then they have approached any of the others,? Kentucky head coach Harry Mullins said. ?Alaska Fairbanks is a good team that has really had a very dominating reign. I want to see how we respond after shooting for weeks and putting in lots of hard work. We need to put up some good numbers against some top-notch competition. Facing a team as good as Alaska Fairbanks really puts pressure on the team and I will be eager to see how they respond.?

Kentucky has shot some excellent scores thus far this season behind the guns several newcomers. Freshmen Jen Pason and Thomas Csenge have both quickly become a fixture in the starting lineup, consistently shooting high numbers. Senior captain Amy Sowash has also been pulling the trigger well this season and looks to help the Wildcats continue its unbeaten streak.
