The Kentucky softball team will once again host an Alumni Weekend to celebrate the players and coaches that helped establish the program. This year?s event is scheduled for April 13-15 when the Wildcats host No. 1 Tennessee for a three-game series.

Alumni will attend a meet-and-great social night on Friday, April 13, followed by a UK vs. UT doubleheader on Saturday, April 14, beginning at 1 pm. Former players will be recognized between games and will be treated to a barbecue following the final game of the afternoon. Alumni wrap up the weekend with the third and final game of the Tennessee series at 1 p.m. at the UK Softball Complex.

Ten rooms have been blocked off at the Holiday Inn Express on Virginia Avenue for a rate of $75 per night. If interested, please call (859) 389-6800 and mention UK Softball Alumni Weekend to reserve a blocked room. The cutoff date is March 23, 2007.
