The UK offense was hitting on all cylinders tonight, as they posted a 111-53 win over Missouri-St. Louis in their first exhibition of the season.
Patrick Patterson, who finished the game with a double-double (24 points, 11 rebounds), scored the first five points of the game, leading the Cats to a 10-0 lead and UK never looked back. The Wildcats led by 39 at halftime, 62-23, and stretched their lead to as many as 64 points at 107-43.
Jodie Meeks led all scorers with 27, while Josh Harrellson also recorded a double-double with 24 points and a game high 12 rebounds. Freshman Darius Miller had an efficient shooting night with 14 points. He made 6-of-7 from the field, including 2-of-3 three-pointers.
Kentucky has its second and final exhibition game on Friday, playing host to Ouachita Baptist at 7:00 p.m.
