Team Records and Series Notes
- The Wildcats fall to 13-12 overall, 3-7 in the SEC while No. 5/4 Auburn improves to 24-1, 9-1 in conference play and 10-0 at home.
- UK is now 0-6 vs. ranked opponents this season.
- The Tigers now lead the all-time series 24-11, including a 9-5 advantage over the Cats on the Plains. AU’s win snapped UK’s two-game winning streak over the Tigers.
- Kentucky is off Sunday but returns to action Thursday, Feb. 19 vs. No. 15/17 Tennessee in Memorial Coliseum. Thursday marks UK’s WBCA Pink Zone™ game. Fans wearing pink can purchase general admission tickets for only $1 while supplies last.
Team Game Notes
- UK used the line-up of Victoria Dunlap, Eleia Roddy, Carly Ormerod, Amber Smith and Amani Franklin for the fifth time this season. This line-up is now 1-4.
- Four players scored in double figures led by Roddy’s 21 points. The Cats are now 7-2, 1-1 in the SEC when four or more players net double digits.
- UK went 6-of-16 from beyond the arc and has now hit a three-pointer in 177 consecutive games.
- Kentucky trailed 47-27 at the half, its largest deficit at the half in SEC play. UK is now 2-10 overall, 0-5 in SEC play when trailing at the break.
- UK outscored Auburn 42-34 in the second half and clawed back to within six points with 9:47 to go before Auburn used a 5-0 run to go back up by double figures and seal the win.
- Kentucky hit 40.6 percent (26-of-64) from the field, its second straight game to net 40 percent or better.
- UK hit a season-high 26 field goals, surpassing the previous high of 25 vs. No. 7/11 Tennessee on Jan. 8, 2009.
- The Cats also attempted a season-high 64 field goals. The previous high was 59 vs. Arkansas on Jan. 11, 2009.
- Auburn hit 58.7 percent (37-63) from the floor, marking just the second opponent to hit over 50 percent against the Cats this season.
- The Cats had just 13 turnovers, tying their season-low. UK also committed just 13 vs. Mississippi State and LSU.
- Auburn outscored UK 48-32 in points in the paint but UK scored 18 second-chance points compared to the Tigers’ six.
Individual Game Notes
- Senior center Eleia Roddy finished 21 points (one point shy of her career high) and 10 rebounds for her 15 th career and SEC-high 11 th double-double of the season. She takes sole possession of No. 15 on UK’s career double-double list. (22 in career high vs. LSU on Jan. 25, 2009)
- Roddy attempted a career-high 18 field goals. Her previous high was 14 on two occasions.
- Junior Amani Franklin scored 15 points, including 11 in the first half.
- She hit 3-of-6 from the three-point line and has now hit multiple threes in nine games, including two consecutive.
- Sophomore point guard Amber Smith finished with 15 points, just two shy of her career high. She hit a season-high two three-pointers in the final two minutes of the game. She also dished out six assists with just one turnover.
- Sophomore forward Victoria Dunlap added 13 points, her third straight game in double figures. She grabbed two steals in the game and now has a team-high 40 steals on the season.
