LEXINGTON, Ky. — Coming off an overtime tie with No. 22 Central Florida on Wednesday, the Kentucky men’s soccer team returns to action, hosting the Memphis Tigers at 3:30 p.m. ET on Sunday at the UK Soccer Complex.

Kentucky (4-6-2, 1-1-1 Conference USA) posted a 1-1 double overtime tie with UCF on Wednesday, getting a goal from junior college transfer Sam Brooks in the third minute. The Wildcats enter the game with four points in conference play, fighting to advance to the C-USA Tournament.

The Wildcats have been led offensively by Brooks and freshman Tyler Riggs, who each have three goals. Brooks leads the team with seven points, also adding an assist. Sophomore Matt Lodge, a freshman All-American in 2009, owns two goals and one assist, while freshman Ellis Vienne owns two goals. Jordan Rose and senior Drew Midkiff lead the team with two assists each.

In goal, UK freshman Tyler Beadle has totaled a 1.26 goals-against average, saving 40 shots in 12 games with three shutouts.

UK has been playing with an extremely young team, with 63 percent of the minutes played by the Wildcats in 2010 coming from players in their first seasons of playing time at UK.

Memphis (3-8, 0-4 C-USA) enters the game averaging 1.45 goals per game and 12.2 shots per contest. The Tigers are searching for their first league win, dropping contests to FIU, UCF, Tulsa and Marshall.

Individually for Memphis, Thomas Shannon leads the team with three goals and three assists, while Parker Duncan has added three goals and two assists. Liam Collins, Hugo Mondragon and Austin Gross have each added two goals. In between the pipes, Jordan Leedle has started nine games and allowed 15 goals, with 26 saves and a 1.67 goals-against average. Martin Hunter has started two games in goal for Memphis, saving 10 shots and posting a 1.87 goals-against average.
