LEXINGTON, Ky. – University of Kentucky freshman diver Greg Ferrucci was named the Southeastern Conference Male Diver of the Week, as announced by the league office Tuesday.

Ferrucci, a Huntersville, N.C., native, won the one- and three-meter board against Alabama on Saturday. En route to winning the one-meter board Saturday, Ferrucci set a new career-best score of 362.25. Ferrucci’s score on the one-meter board ranks fourth all-time at Kentucky.

Ferrucci has led the Cats on the diving board all season. His score of 312.00 on the platform is the second best in UK history and his 385.90 score on the three-meter board is the third best in school history.

The Cats will take the pool again Saturday at home at the Lancaster Aquatic Center against intrastate-rival Louisville. The meet will begin at 1 p.m. and parking garage No. 7 will be open and free to use for fans and media.
