Penrod then tapped in with a time of 53.96 in the consolation finals to finish in 16th place and earn All-American honorable mention honors.

Faulkner, who finished in 16th on the one-meter dive Thursday, earning honorable mention All-American honors, earned All-American honorable mention honors again Friday with a 15th place finish on the three-meter board.

“Lisa had another good day,” UK diving head coach Ted Hautau said. “What she has done in two years has been remarkable. This is a very talented and experienced field of divers and I was very pleased with her composure and toughness under pressure. She dived well today.”

The Kentucky 200-medley relay team of Penrod, senior Lindsey Graessle, junior Mandy Myers and senior Kayla Sergesketter finished the prelims in 15th place with a time of 1:39.10 to earn a spot in the consolation finals.
