LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky-Florida women’s soccer match on October 2 in Gainesville, Fla., has been slated to be televised live CSS.

Originally scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, the time has been changed to a 2:00 p.m. ET start.

Last season, in Lipsitz’s second year at the helm of the Wildcat program, Kentucky advanced to the SEC Tournament for the first time since 2007, posted its 11th 10 win season, finishing with a 10-7-3 record and 4-5-2 in league play. Along the way, the Cats posted a 2-1 upset of 15th ranked Virginia Tech and a 1-1 tie with 17th ranked Georgia in Athens.

Kentucky is set to return its top four scorers and five of its top six in 2011.

In addition to the UK-Florida time change, the UK-Georgia match has been moved to 4:00 p.m. to accommodate ESPNU and the Wildcats’ match at South Carolina on Sept. 30 has been changed to a 6:00 p.m. start.

UK opens the season on Aug. 19 in Rochester, Mich. against Oakland and will play its home-opener on Aug. 23 against Eastern Kentucky.
