LEXINGTON, Ky. – The 2011 Kentucky volleyball team will be on display Sunday, Aug. 21 as the Wildcats host their annual Blue/White scrimmage. Admission to the 3 p.m. ET event is free to the public.

Parking is available in E (Employee) lots adjacent to Memorial Coliseum including the North Craft lot accessible via Rose or Lexington Avenue and the Student Center lot located off of Avenue of Champions. The lot located between Martin Luther King and Lexington Ave., will be closed this weekend due to UK student move-in.

Doors to Memorial Coliseum will open one hour prior to first serve.

The team will compete in an inter-squad scrimmage for approximately one hour. This marks the first chance fans have to see the 2011 edition of the Kentucky volleyball team. UK’s home opener is set for Aug. 30 at 7 p.m. ET as UK welcomes Cincinnati to Memorial Coliseum.

The Wildcats are one of 18 teams in the nation to appear in six consecutive NCAA Tournaments and have compiled 17 or more victories in six straight seasons. UK returns five starters and welcomes four incoming freshmen to a freshman class rated among the top-30 in the nation.
