LEXINGTON, Ky. – Following an upset of No. 25 Tennessee on Wednesday evening, the Kentucky volleyball team will return to the hardwood on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. ET when the Blue and White plays host to Auburn at Memorial Coliseum. Dick Gabriel and Mandy Robbe will have the call on UKathletics.com.

Kentucky (8-6, 2-2 Southeastern Conference) will be in search of a third-consecutive conference victory following wins at Texas A&M and an upset of the Lady Vols on national television.

UK received dynamic performances from juniors Whitney Billings and Alexandra Morgan who combined for 19 kills with zero hitting errors in the win on Wednesday. Billings charted her second-consecutive double-double effort with 10 kills and 16 digs after tallying 16 kills and 16 digs in the win at Texas A&M.

The Wildcats’ defensive effort has been sterling as well with UK out-blocking both opponents in consecutive matches. Kentucky’s back line defense has also been superb as the trio of Billings, senior Stephanie Klefot and sophomore Jackie Napper have totaled 145 of UK’s 205 digs over the last three matches.

Auburn suffered a 3-0 defeat at Arkansas on Friday night, but the Tigers have been surging thus far with a nice start to the 2012 season racking up a 12-3 overall record and a 3-2 mark in league play.

UK owns a 30-10 all-time record against the Tigers, winning 10 of the last 11 match ups including three consecutively.

Offensively Sarah Bullock and Katherine Cullwell are having tremendous seasons, leading the Tigers with 167 (3.41 kills per set) and 158 (3.04 kills per set) kills respectively.

Camila Jersonsky has owned the net with 62 blocks (1.19 blocks per set) while libero Sarah Wroblicky leads the team with 244 digs (4.69 digs per set).
