• UK’s starting lineup featured A’dia Mathies, Bria Goss, Jennifer O’Neill, Samarie Walker and DeNesha Stallworth for the fourth straight game. The Cats are now 8-0 with that lineup.
  • All five starters scored in double figures.
  • Mathies scored the first basket of the game on an and-one at the 18:53 mark.
  • Janee Thompson was the first sub of the game for UK.
• UK set a new school record for the least points allowed. The previous record was 25, which happened on two separate occasions (1974 vs. Lexington Merchants and 2011 vs. Jacksonville State).
  • UK held Alcorn State to 11 points in the first half, marking the lowest total since holding Charleston Southern to a school-record low of nine points in the opening stanza on Dec. 10, 2004.
  • This marks the sixth time Kentucky has held its opponent to 20 or less points in the first half this season.

• Junior Samarie Walker recorded her fourth double-double of the year and second straight with a career-high 21 points to go with a season-best 14 rebounds, including a personal-best 10 offensive boards.
  • She posted a career-high five steals and tied a career-best with three blocks.
• Senior A’dia Mathies scored 14 points and is now tied for No. 6 (Pam Browning, 1974-78) on the UK’s all-time scoring list with 1,598 career points. She needs three more to move up to No. 4.
  • Mathies has reached double figures 10 times this season.
  • With four made field goals she moved to No. 9 on the all-time list with 563, passing Samantha Mahoney (2005-08).
  • Was 5-of-7 from the charity stripe and now moves to No. 4 all-time in free throws attempted, climbing past Tiffany Wait (1996-00).
  • Is one steal shy from tying Leslie Nichols (278 – 1982-86) for No. 3 on UK’s all-time steals charts.
• Junior DeNesha Stallworth tallied her third double-double of the season with 10 points, 10 rebounds and had a UK career-high seven assists.
  • Has reached double figures on 10 occasions this season, including nine straight contests.
• Sophomore Bria Goss recorded a season-high 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the floor.
• Redshirt sophomore Jennifer O’Neill tied a season high with 13 points, including 5-of-7 shooting from the field.
