LEXINGTON, Ky, — Following their national championship, a pair of Wildcats picked up postseason honors and were named All-Americans for the 2017-18 season. Junior Hanna Carr picked up her sixth All-American honor after being named a  third team  All-American in combined after her 1174.07 average and  second team  All-American in  smallbore  after her 583.31 average. The Versailles, Kentucky, native was also named honorable mention in air rifle with her average eclipsing the 590 mark with a 590.77. Assistant Coach Rena Goodwin was also named the NCAA Assistant Coach of the Year.

“I couldn’t be more proud or ask for much more,” head coach Harry Mullins said. “We could have had more make the list based off of the things that we saw in the spring en route to a national title and the performances that they actually had in the match to lead us to the trophy. Henrik and Hanna put in the work to get them the success that they’ve had this season. I’m so proud of the entire team for their efforts this season and turning it on when we needed them to.”
