The Wildcats will split into teams for the annual intrasquad scrimmage and another large crowd is expected. The 16,089 fans in attendance at last year’s game set a school record for the event and UK is looking to break that record again.

Tickets are still available in the 200-level for $5 for this year’s Blue-White Game. Tickets may be purchased online at ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000.

For the fifth year in a row, head coach John Calipari will pay the 2017 spring semester in-state tuition for two lucky students who attend Friday’s game. UK students will check into the Blue-White Game via the BBN Rewards app. Students who check in at the Blue-White Game with a fully completed profile, including their student ID number, will be eligible to win.

Five players scored in double figures in last year’s game, continuing the high-scoring tradition of the Blue-White Game in the Calipari era in a 110-94 victory for the Blue team. Isaiah Briscoe led all scorers with 39 points, but he did not threaten Terrence Jones’ record performance of 52 points in the 2011-12 edition of the game.

The Wildcats are ranked No. 4 in the preseason USA Today Coaches Poll released on Thursday, the ninth straight season under Calipari UK has been ranked in the preseason top 10. Kentucky is also the media’s preseason pick to win the Southeastern Conference regular-season championship.

Fans unable to attend will be able to watch the Blue-White Game live on the SEC Network.
