Stefanik and Benson to Compete in Louisville Fall Invitational

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Two Wildcats – Jake Stefanik and Gus Benson – will compete in the Louisville Invitational beginning Friday.
 
The tournament will take place at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Louisville. Admission is free all weekend.
 
The 14 teams that will be represented at the tournament are Ball State, Butler, Cleveland State, DePaul, Illinois State, Louisville, Lipscomb, Middle Tennessee, Tennessee Tech, Toledo, UT Chattanooga, Wright State and Xavier.
 
Stefanik and Benson will both compete in the A singles draw of the tournament. Stefanik will face Matthew Terry of Cleveland State, while Benson will take on Victor Chaw of Lipscomb. Play will begin at 9 a.m. tomorrow.
 
If Stefanik is to move on, he’ll face either Gonzalo Garcia of Tennessee Tech or Boris Spangaard of DePaul. If Benson is to move on, he’ll face Jack Dykema of Xavier of Michal Kianicka of Wichita State.
 
Stefanik and Benson will team up in doubles as well. They’ll face the Witchita State duo of Kianicka and Ueltzhoeffer.
